Kate Grey
Kate Grey is a marketing leader, with experience depth in health care, higher education and manufacturing. Her oversight and experience includes marketing, advertising, media relations, internal communications, digital assets and social media.
Her most-recent role was Vice President, Strategic Marketing, for Dignity Health Nevada-St. Rose Dominican Hospitals in Las Vegas. During Kate’s tenure at Dignity Health Nevada, her marketing leadership resulted in more than $40 million growth in total marketing impact (net revenue, contribution margin) from marketing programs. In addition, per third-party market research, St. Rose Dominican moved into #1 market leadership for strongest overall brand performance due to her performance, as well as “best care” for key service lines including cardiology, orthopedics and neurosciences.
Prior to this position, Kate was director of marketing for Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nev., formerly a Dignity Health facility. Her almost 20 years of health-care marketing experience also includes various roles with Washoe Health System, now Renown Health. She is the co-author of Beyond Patient Experience Surveys: Leveraging Social Media to Glean Patient Feedback, which was published in the June 2014 issue of Nurse Leader, AONE’s journal.
Kate has also marketed light manufacturing, a high-tech micro-cap energy startup and higher education, including five years with the University of Nevada, Reno as Director, e-Communications and Marketing.
Kate received an MBA from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2012 and also received her undergraduate degree in journalism there. Her volunteer activities include serving for eight years on the Board of Trustees for the Nevada Museum of Art, as well as being named Volunteer of the Year for the Truckee Meadows Division of the American Heart Association. She is currently co-chair of Go Red for Women Las Vegas 2018.
